My aim is to offer professional, affordable sports massage to benefit anyone’s fitness programme and promote a healthy lifestyle. Sports massage is not just for the sporty!

Why Have Sports Massage?

You do not have to be ‘sporty’, ‘injured’ or even ‘young’ to receive a sports massage. This type of massage has special techniques to ensure a specific, deep massage to help with muscle tension, aches & pains, also helping with postural problems as well as many other benefits. The techniques are adapted to the individuals age and needs.

Having a sports massage at the appropriate time can help with the healing process when injured, but also invaluable for helping prevent injuries by keeping muscles supple and increasing a greater range of movement.

It is thought that massage helps speed up the removal of toxins and waste products from the muscles helping with lymphatic drainage (a normal process when lymph is drained from the tissues and cleansed by lymph nodes).

From what my clients have told me the best part of massage is to relax, take time out knowing they are in capable hands. The psychological benefits match the physical so ideally could be a beneficial part of anyone’s life. We all need to switch off.

A full confidential consultation will be carried out on the first appointment and updated on each visit. This is to ensure that massage is safe to carry out should you have any contra indications, (health problems which will prevent the treatment being given).
